3d printer printing something

One of my favorite hobbies is 3D printing. It’s a mix of creativity, problem-solving, and a little bit of chaos—just the way I like it. I’ve been printing everything from functional parts to ridiculous fixes for everyday annoyances (ask me about the baby monitor mount held together with super glue and determination).

My Go-To Gear

Most of my prints are done with the Bambu Labs A1 with AMS – it’s fast, reliable, and surprisingly user-friendly. Check it out here.

I also have the Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro, which has served me well on bigger or backup projects. Here’s the link if you're curious.

As for filament, I stick to the classics: black and white. No frills, no neon rainbows—just clean, crisp prints that blend into the chaos of real life. My go-to filament is here.

Project Highlights

  • Baby Monitor Mount – My wife left the camera balancing on the bed. I printed a wall-mounted holder with some quick design work and a trusty LTT screwdriver. Boom. Problem solved.

  • Filament Guide for AMS – No more wrestling the hose loose with a pocket knife. This mod makes filament swaps a breeze.

  • Light Switch Remote Holder – Designed to sit flush on a standard light switch plate, this holder keeps remotes secure and out of toddler reach.

  • Ceiling Fan Controller Mount – One of those “measure once, reprint three times” projects. It now fits like a glove—after some aggressive persuasion.

Whether it's designing from scratch or modifying an existing file to make it kid-proof, 3D printing lets me tinker and build useful stuff from thin air. Stick around for more prints, fails, and fixes!
